In a surprising crossover event that challenges conventional predictions, the game developer has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Uncovered
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine cult.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Bonus Material
Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an special katana together with several artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

This patch also adds the game's latest free story content, titled "The Mystery."
