It's a challenge for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the unit that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with an additional six T20 titles, and once went nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a team that has achieved everything.

That it took up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

It's challenging for their hitters to hold a record if not afforded the possibility.

By the time she was out the team needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, should it happen, we know we can achieve it."

Those words will be the final thing competing nations at this tournament want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this triumph coming after success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
